Celebrity Duets is a reality television show, in which eight celebrities, most of whom are not known for their singing, will perform alongside a different recording artist each week, provided they stay in the competition. The show debuted on Fox, with a 2-hour premiere on August 29, 2006. It then moved to its normal Thursday timeslot the following week. It is hosted by Wayne Brady and created by Simon Cowell of American Idol fame.

The show is a take-off of the Australian series It Takes Two and its predcessor, the BBC's Just the Two of Us. It is also sometimes considered as a singing version of Dancing with the Stars, as So You Think You Can Dance is American Idol's dancing counterpart.
